ABOUT ME

I’m a 28-year-old passionate and qualified Pilates Instructor from Mareeba, Far North Queensland.

I’ve been instructing for over 2 years, trained by world recognised Studio Pilates in both matwork and reformer pilates. I’ve previously worked as a Platinum Reformer Pilates Instructor for Studio Pilates Cairns.

I’m also an experienced Property Developer, licenced Real Estate Agent and a proud single mum to my little boy, Raylan.

In 2021 I started ‘Pilates with Katrina – Mareeba’, which is now known as 'North Pilates' to transform the lives of others by helping them to tone their bodies, build confidence and self-esteem, and improve their overall health.

My love for Pilates began when I decided I needed a new network of friends, so I tried a reformer pilates class and instantly fell in love with it! After being committed to health and fitness, and a regular member to gyms for over 5 years, reformer pilates was an exciting new form of exercise - my kind of exercise! Low impact, muscle toning and best of all – no cardio! Pilates also helped me throughout my pregnancy and also after having a baby in so many ways.

Thanks to the amazing and instant results, I have been addicted to it ever since - which is why I decided to offer matwork Pilates classes in Mareeba!

I consider myself to be a kind, empathetic yet confident person, with an outgoing personality. I love to travel, wise quotes, good food, fine wine and a great coffee. I love old architecture and learning new things. I also have a soft spot for Old Gold Rum & Raisin chocolate and espresso martini’s. I’m a high achiever and an opportunist. I believe things happen for a reason and you can learn something from everyone. I love kind people and every day I work on being a better person and having a positive influence on other people’s lives.

My goal is to achieve a satisfying life balance between all of the things I love the most and to encourage those around me to do the same.

Pilates has truly changed my life and I can’t wait to show you how it can change yours too!
