MATWORK CLASSES
Matwork Pilates Classes are a full body strengthening and toning workout, performed on a yoga/pilates mat, using your own body weight as resistance. Matwork Pilates is based on the original exercises Joseph Pilates developed. These classes are great for everyone - from beginners to advanced clients! I modify each exercise individually and offer different levels to suit everyone's ability in every class!

Pilates tones muscle, increases core strength and gives you a total body work out!

Pilates is a form of strength training that focuses on the core stabilising muscles. Pilates strengthens and tones the entire body, and will correct posture and muscle imbalances (which is why Pilates is often recommended by physiotherapists). Pilates focuses on correct muscle activation and control to perform movements. Rather than heavy weights, Pilates uses resistance to tone muscles.

Pilates is amazing, you’re going to LOVE it! Everyone is welcome! Anyone can do Pilates, it’s inclusive for all ages and all fitness levels.

Classes run for 45 minutes, all you’ll need is:
Workout Clothes (Tights Recommended)
Pilates/Yoga Mat (the thicker, the better)
Socks
Water Bottle
Towel

Unless otherwise stated, classes will be held at Margie’s Swim School, 56 Emerald End Rd, Mareeba.
There’s a lovely grassy area under a shade sail that catches a beautiful breeze & an undercovered area.
